Use the mandatory building needs assessment process to create a student achievement improvement plan
State law requires local school board to conduct annual needs assessment in every school. The obligation is yours, not district staff. This workshop teaches you what is required, how to guide meetings with principals and teachers, and to assemble the information needed for the budget process. Attendees will also learn how to hold district management accountable and monitor progress on their strategic plan to improve outcomes and close achievement gaps.
