KOMA Training

We invite you to join us for a (free) one-hour KOMA (Kansas Open Meetings Act) training webinar on Tuesday, June 2nd with Matt Bingesser.  Administrative Counsel for Kansas Attorney General.

Mr. Bingesser will revisit  KOMA laws and stipulations for compliance and answer questions to provide clarification and understanding for school board members.

This live webinar fulfills the KOMA training required of school board members who must fulfill a training requirement for a KOMA violation. In order to receive credit for this training:

  1. You must register at least 24 hours in advance.
  2. Mr. Bingesser will coordinate with you to receive verification that you attended based on information specific to this live training.
  3. Attendance must be verified with Mr. Bingesser within 24 hours to receive credit

Watching the recording of this webinar later will not fulfill verification and credit requirements.

 

Panelist:

Matt Bingesser is the administrative counsel for Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach. In this role, Matt provides legal support to the Attorney General and Chief of Staff on matters relating to human resources, budget, communications, ethics, open government, and legislation.

Matt graduated from Washburn University School of Law
