8 Things to Know About Running for School Board

April 3 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm CDT

Join us on Thursday, April 3rd, at 4 pm (CDT) for an interactive discussion designed to provide confidence and guidance if you are considering serving your district as a school board member. Dave Trabert, author of 8 Things to Know about Running for School Board, will discuss key points in his new book. This book provides coaching for potential school board candidates and current board members on finding the information they need to support student outcome improvement. It will also help them understand and develop persuasive communication skills and management strategies to be leaders for student-focused change. You will have the opportunity to ask Dave questions directly about the current state of education in Kansas and how you can make a difference in your district.

Please note: This discussion will be recorded.
